Climate Change: What is it?

The changes the Earth will see if we continue down the same path without making changes

Climate change has become a sensitive topic in society, especially recently. Though many people like to claim that climate change is not happening, there are many studies that have proven that climate change is causing the ecosystems and species on Earth to change drastically. Climate change is defined as a change in regional or global climate patterns that have been caused due to increasing amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. These increasing amounts of carbon dioxide can cause changes in temperature, precipitation, sea levels, ocean acidification, and more. This has become a large issue today, due to human activities, such as burning fossil fuels. If humans do not make changes to their lifestyles, and make them quickly, species all over the world will begin to disappear. It is our duties as humans to take care of our home and the species that live among us.
